History

This group was formed on a platform called "hilokal", a language-learning app where you can communicate with native speakers to learn a language. In this app, people can talk to each other in group calls called "tables". Since this platform provides group calls, it has also become an app where people can meet and socialize with each other. With this, groups were formed and communities were established. One of those group is the "Never Ending and Croissant Table". A group formed by the Board Members of Croissant and the Never Ending Table.

A group of friends came together in a table to try to pronounce the word "Croissant". Since it's a French word, they find it difficult to pronounce and they repeated pronouncing that word until it became the name of the group. On August 2021, the Croissant gang was born. The group started to do BTS broke concert on the platform where they would perform selected BTS songs. On the night of August 12, 2021,  they hosted the biggest BTS broke concert on the platform where they would have a program, host, guests, and meet & greet portion. After the concert, the croissants continue on opening tables and their friendship continue to flourish.

Originally named "A Happily Never Ending Table", the Never Ending table is one of the major Tagalog tables of Hilokal. It was called "Never Ending" because the table doesn't close. A lot of Filipinos would enter this table and they became friends with each other. The table continued to be open and once become the largest and best hilokal Tagalog table. On October 2021, the group continued to become the top and most visited Tagalog table in hilokal and their members continued to be more close with each other.

Since Croissant table is not opening a table anymore, at the end of October 2021, members of the Croissant gang entered the Happily Never Ending table and became friends with their members, slowly, the Croissant table and Never Ending table merged into one table called the Never Ending and Croissant Table (NEACT). This started on the Halloween party, at the midnight of October 31, 2021. 

Due to the member's synergy, the NEACT became a solid community and became one of the most active Filipino groups in hilokal. Due to the group's popularity and rising number of members, The group's admin started to apply for the opening of the Cafe - Never Ending Cafe. The opening of the said Cafe was on November 12, 2021. 

Since then, the NEACT is one of the best Filipino communities in hilokal and is rapidly expanding its reach and broadening it's horizon to other communities as well.
